Inviting people from Ava
Members get a Navalo invitation; clients get an email only when you tick the box for that event.
Members
Members you invite get the event in their Navalo calendar with an invitation to answer: Accept, Maybe or Decline, with an optional short note when they decline. Every email about the event shows the time in the reader's own time zone and clock, and the place with an Open in Maps link.
Clients (outside people)
- Off by default, every event. Only the Also invite (client) by email box on the confirm card sends anything.
- The client gets one invitation with Accept, Maybe and Decline links. Each link works once, and the receipt brings a fresh set if they change their mind.
- If they say nothing, one reminder goes 48 hours after the invitation (never later than 24 hours before the event). After that you are told no reply from (name). Navalo never assumes a yes.
- Follow-up and confirmation emails carry a Stop these emails link. It stops Navalo asking that person, and you are told once that they asked not to be reminded. Navalo still never assumes a yes.
- Outside email counts against the workspace's outside-guest mail budget. When the budget is used up, nothing is sent and the card says so.
Note
Your workspace is responsible for the people it invites from outside. Only invite someone who expects to hear from you about the meeting.
Invitations come with the Team plan.
Note
This applies where your workspace has the latest organization tools switched on. Where they are off, everything works as it did before.
