Jobsite: Today, the diary, materials and Site Work
The Today band, a photo-first diary, tickets from Training, materials from stock, and Site Work folded in.
Today is where a jobsite opens: the date, today's weather from the diary, who is on site, what needs signing, open safety items and this site's jobs. Each tile opens its band.
- The diary's log sheet opens with the camera first. Photos work with no signal; three can wait to upload.
- With Training installed, certifications are read from Training, so record tickets there. Anything recorded on the site before stays listed as recorded on this site before Training. People who do not manage members see their own tickets and the site's counts.
- Materials (with Inventory & Assets) shows stock on this site, what is allocated to the job, what was used here and equipment on site. Use works offline; receiving and counting need signal and the site's manager. A store gets a Stock band the same way.
- All sites today shows today's diaries, open safety items, ticket warnings and jobs across every active site you can see.
Site Work is part of Jobsite
Site Work (the Offline Sync Protocol) is part of Jobsite now: its card view is Jobsite's Tasks band. A workspace that had only Site Work gets the Jobsite tab; one that switched Jobsite off keeps Site Work as it was. The desktop app's offline copy now syncs its queued changes in every workspace.
Note
This applies where your workspace has the new organization tools switched on. Where they are off, everything works as it did before.
