Fill your hours from a picture or text

Turn a screenshot, a timetable photo, a PDF, an .ics file or a few typed lines into your working hours.

Under Settings, Schedule, Fill my hours reads a screenshot of Outlook or Google Calendar, a photo of a class timetable, a PDF, an .ics file or a few typed lines. One typical week works best. A picture that is blurry, cropped, or a month too small to read times is refused with a tip.

  1. 1Check the week it read.
  2. 2Pick when it applies: only these dates, the weeks you are asked about, until a date (you are reminded that day to renew or replace it), or from now on.
  3. 3Save. Nothing is saved before this step.
  • Part-time members can fill their weekly or monthly availability the same way, and are offered Classes or another job inside the part-time card.
  • Use Monday's hours everywhere asks first and names the days it changes. Each day has Copy to... in Detail.
  • It works on the phone too (Availability, Fill my hours, and My schedule).
  • Reading typed lines is done by code first; a picture uses AI credits.

Approval

Under Administration, Org schedule, Uploaded schedules, Require manager approval for uploaded schedules is off by default. When it is on, a saved upload waits for one of the member's managers under Settings, Schedule, Schedules waiting for you.

On the phone, Offer on a shift lets you offer it to anybody qualified or to one named teammate who can take it.

Note

This applies where your workspace has the new organization tools switched on. Where they are off, everything works as it did before.
