Uploading a school or other-job schedule
Turn a class timetable or another job's rota into times you are unavailable.
Under Settings, Schedule you can upload a PDF, a picture or an .ics calendar file, or link a calendar (webcal or https).
- Calendar files and links are read by Navalo directly.
- PDFs and pictures are read by Ava, which uses AI credits.
- You confirm the times before anything is saved.
- They become recurring times you are unavailable. They are never time off and never touch a balance.
- Teammates see only "Unavailable" on the team and project calendars. Only your own calendar shows what the time is for. Your managers are told.
- A linked calendar is read again every 6 hours.
On the phone app, My schedule lists your uploads. You can untick any times it read wrong and save the rest, or paste a calendar link. Files themselves are uploaded on navalo.ai.
Note
This appears where your workspace has the new organization tools switched on. Where they are off, everything works as it did before and these screens do not show.
