Setting up the meeting updater

Choose which boards your meetings may update, what they may change, and whether every change waits for you.

The first time you open Meetings, Navalo asks how the meeting updater may use the meetings you record:

  • Which boards it may update: every board you can edit, only the ones you pick, or none.
  • What it may do: add and update tasks, checklist items, due dates, assign people, add notes to cards.
  • Whether every change waits for your approval first. It then waits in the project's Autopilot queue.
  • Whether your recordings are record only.

The line at the top of Meetings says your setup in sentences; Change reopens it. It applies to meetings you record. The per-meeting Update boards from this meeting still overrides record only for that meeting.

Workspace rules

People who manage members can set kinds of change nobody's meetings may make, require approval for everyone, make everyone record only, and set defaults for people who have not answered yet. A member's own setup can only narrow these.

A meeting follows the setup of the person who records it, within the workspace's rules. Where the latest organization tools are on, the line at the top of Meetings is a row of chips (what it may do, on or off, locked by the workspace) and the setup dialog is grouped into after a meeting, which boards, what it may do and approval.

Note

This applies where your workspace has the new organization tools switched on. Where they are off, everything works as it did before.
