Your product and service catalogue
Keep the services and products you sell in one list, pick them on invoices and plans, and give clients their own prices.
Open Finances, then Invoices, then Catalogue. Each item is an hourly service, a fixed fee, a product or a retainer, with a SKU, a unit, a price, a cost, how it is taxed (goods or services) and an income account for your accounting sync.
Using it on invoices
- 1On a new invoice, a draft or a recurring plan, press From catalogue.
- 2Catalogue items come first, then Inventory items that are not in the catalogue yet.
- 3The line takes the item's name and price. Change the quantity or the price before you add it if you need to.
A product can be linked to the Inventory item it sells. Its stock moves when the invoice is sent, never on a draft, exactly like a line picked from Inventory. Products are taxed as goods and everything else as services, so your tax rules apply the right rate.
Price lists
On the Business plan you can add price lists (for example "Partners") with their own prices. Put a client on one from their Billing section in the CRM, or give a list a CRM segment: every client whose CRM company is in that segment gets its prices. Segments (for example Enterprise, Mid-market and SMB) are set up in CRM, Setup, Segments by people who manage workspace settings, and picked on each company's record. A client's own list wins over its segment's list, and the item's own price is used when neither list has one.
Prices are never converted. A price is offered only when it is in the invoice's or plan's currency; an item priced in another currency asks you to type the price.
Who can see and change it
People who see Finances or send invoices can use the catalogue. Prices and costs show only to people who can see Finances; everyone else types the price on the line. Only people who manage finances can change items and lists.
The catalogue comes with the Team plan.
This applies where it is switched on for your workspace.
