Emoji
Every standard emoji, drawn the same on every device, plus your workspace's own.
Press the smile in the message box. Search by name or shortcode, jump between categories, or pick from Recently used. The thumbs-up button beside search sets your skin tone; Navalo remembers it and your recent emoji on your account, so they follow you to the desktop app and the phone.
The second tab holds your workspace's own emoji, where admins on a plan that includes custom emoji can upload new ones.
Typing them
Type a colon and a few letters, like :par, to get a short list; press Enter or Tab to put one in. A whole shortcode with its closing colon, like :tada:, turns into the emoji as you type. A workspace emoji's name always means that emoji.
Reactions
Reactions use the same picker: the quick row has the usual few, and + opens every emoji, your skin tone and your workspace's set.
One look everywhere
Navalo draws emoji with Twemoji on the web, the desktop app and the phone, so a message looks the same to everyone. Messages are still saved as ordinary text, so search, email, notifications and copying work as before. A message of one to three emoji is shown large.
