The client portal
One private link per client for their quotes, invoices, the files and project progress you share, and their requests.
Open a client's CRM record. Under Billing, the Client portal card has Copy link and Email link. The link needs no account and no password; it lasts 7 days, and the client can ask for a new one with their billing email.
What the client sees
- What they owe, with a button to their invoices and payments.
- Quotes sent to them, with the lines and totals. A quote sent for signature has a Review and sign button: it opens the same signing page as the email, and a one-time code goes to the signer's email to confirm it is them.
- Files and project progress you shared with them. A project shows its name, how many cards are done and the next due date. Never task titles, people or comments.
- Their support tickets, when your helpdesk is on. Tickets are matched to the client's CRM company or person, never to the billing emails they can edit.
- A box to send you a request. Billing people get a notice and can mark it done on the card.
Nothing else
Only what belongs to that client, or what you shared with them, is ever shown. A share stops working if you stop sharing it, if the file is deleted, or if the person who shared it can no longer open it or send invoices.
Links
The portal opens with the client's billing page link, so a billing page link you sent earlier opens the portal too. If a link went to the wrong person, press Stop links sent so far on the card: every portal and billing page link sent until then stops opening, and the pay links on their invoices keep working. Then copy or email a new link.
The portal shows your logo and colour. On Business you can remove the Powered by Navalo line. The portal comes with the Team plan.
This applies where it is switched on for your workspace.
